We don’t always have the answers, but we’re learning to wrestle with the tensions in God’s Word + World.God became human and lived among us. This is a doctrine we believe, but it also means we trust God is present in the whole of our lives, even when it's confusing, complicated, or just plain hard.
So we're always looking to offer opportunities for us to wrestle with how following Jesus informs and transforms how we see our life and the lives of our neighbors. Take a look below at how we're doing that right now!
Crossing the Bridge: A Closer Look at How We Live Missionally
Sunday Mornings from 11:00am – 12:00pm beginning February 6th | Great Hall (YouTube and Zoom Available)
Tucked in our church campus, there is a bridge that’s both beautiful and symbolic. Together, in worship and community, we encounter Jesus; and after we cross back over the bridge as God’s people, partnering with God in doing good in the world around us.
From the very beginning, our church-community has been marked by this desire to live missionally. But what is mission after all? What’s the message of the gospel that has changed us, and how do we translate in a way that’s both faithful and honors our neighbors?
Join us this Winter and into the Spring as we look closer at the Christian idea of mission in hopes of discovering what it means to join with God’s work around us today.
Disciple: An Immersive Journey through Scripture
Wednesday Nights from 6:30 - 7:30pm
This year, we are walking through the entire Scriptures in a single year, covering all the major themes and wrestling with the text to become more faithful followers of Jesus. Our gathering will be a blend of large group facilitation by our Ministers and small group time to process and dive deeper. We will be live-streaming this gathering and offering it via Zoom to provide flexibility for those who want to keep up-to-date but might not be able to attend any or all Wednesday nights.
Monthly Gatherings on Thursday Nights from 6:30 - 8:00pm
Does following Jesus touch all of our life? Join us in our ongoing journey to find out as we gather monthly to hear facilitators exploring topics that intersect faith with weighty subjects like justice, humanities, environmental stewardship, and everything in-between. See our latest gathering featuring Mark Burnett.
