A community where you'll learn to wrestle with the tensions between the story of God and the stories going on all around us.
We’re committed to creating spaces, in-person and online, where we can be formed to love God and our neighbors more deeply. It takes on lots of shapes, but they’re all intended to help us deepen our journey with Jesus and love for our neighbors.

We don’t always have the answers, but we’re learning to wrestle with the tensions in God’s Word + World. Because of this, we’re always looking for opportunities to learn how following Jesus informs and transforms our life and the lives of our neighbors.
Have we lost sight of the true gospel and replaced it with an idol of rugged masculinity and Christian Nationalism?
Join us for our first Jesus & Justice gathering, a Western-themed gathering grounded in themes from Jesus and John Wayne: How White Evangelicals Corrupted a Faith and Fractured a Nation, Dr. Kristin Kobes Du Mez’s sweeping and incisive history and analysis of the last seventy-fire years of white evangelicalism in the United States.
We’ll gather together for Western-themed appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages for the first part, then hear an executive summary of the book from Rev. Dr. Sara Wilhelm Garbers (Senior Associate Minister) before breaking off into table groups to discuss the book’s themes. No need to read the book beforehand.

Scripture Circles is a different kind of Bible Study, seeking to help people ask better questions of the Scriptures, feel more comfortable with wrestling and wonder, find the courage to add their voice to the conversation, and listen for how God might still be speaking to them through the ancient narratives. Scripture Circles is a ministry partnership with 40 Orchards meant to form curious and deeply rooted people of faith in our midst.
