Adults

A place to be formed in the image of Christ for the sake of our neighbors.

We’re committed to creating spaces, in-person and online, where we can be formed to love God and our neighbors more deeply. It takes on lots of shapes, but they’re all intended to help us deepen our journey with Jesus and love for our neighbors.

A community where you'll learn to wrestle with the tensions between the story of God and the stories going on all around us.

Classes & Forums.

We don’t always have the answers, but we’re learning to wrestle with the tensions in God’s Word + World. Because of this, we’re always looking for opportunities to learn how following Jesus informs and transforms our life and the lives of our neighbors.

Join us for this second special BACKYARD EDITION of Theology on Tap! What is Theology on Tap? It’s a dive into life’s deepest questions over beer. No matter how much theology you do or don’t know, we welcome your voice at our tables. Please use the link below to register ahead, as space is limited.

The Body & Embodiment in Early Christianity

Early Christians had a complicated relationship with the body. On the one hand, the body was a beautiful creation of God, capable of making the invisible visible, while on the other hand, it was a source of temptation that needed to be controlled and disciplined. This conflicted relationship has shaped the way that Christians have thought about the body, gender, sexuality, and identity up into our present time. Join us as we consider the biblical, theological, and cultural influences on early Christian perspectives on the body with the hope of gaining a better understanding of these and other paradoxes in Early Christianity and today! Learn more about Dr. Jennifer Awes Freeman here.
